After practicing holistic nutrition consulting for a decade, I expanded my approach by incorporating acupuncture into my practice. I also integrate additional modalities such as moxibustion, gua sha, fire cupping, and Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM) dietary therapy to provide the most effective treatment for each client. These techniques work together to address various health concerns, with acupuncture at the core of my practice.
Acupuncture uses fine needles to stimulate specific points on the body, promoting energy flow and natural healing. It's effective for relieving pain, reducing inflammation, and addressing conditions like stress, anxiety, menstrual discomforts and digestive issues. Acupuncture is used alongside moxibustion, which stimulates acupuncture points with the heat from burning mugwort, and gua sha, a gentle scraping technique that releases muscle tension and reduces inflammation. Fire cupping creates suction to lift the fascia, improving circulation and offering long-lasting relief from muscle pain and tension. Each of these modalities, combined with TCM dietary therapy, supports energy flow and helps balance the body’s systems.
